Farah Abdessamad is a French-Tunisian writer born in Paris whose work has appeared in the South China Morning Post, Asian Review of Books, Mekong Review and other venues. Her literary pursuits include bending conflict narratives and exploring historical ramifications with big ideas and a human lens. She once left a PhD in Political Philosophy at the Sorbonne to work and live in war-torn Yemen. Farah is now based in New York City, working on several manuscripts. You can follow her @farahstlouis
