Florian Maiwald is a German philosopher and political theorist whose work explores the intersections of critical theory, emancipatory subjectivity, and liberal socialism. He earned his doctorate from the University of Bonn and has published extensively on contemporary political thought and the crises of modern liberalism. His most recent book, Regressive Illusions: Contemporary Reflections on Theory and Politics (iff-books), examines the ideological undercurrents of today's political landscape.
