John Lawrence (Larry) Nazareth was educated at the University of Cambridge (Trinity College) and the University of California at Berkeley. He is a mathematical and algorithmic scientist, industry consultant, and university professor by vocation and an avocational travel and memoir writer, poet, essayist, and playwright. Currently, he is Professor (Emeritus) in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Washington State University, and Affiliate Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics, University of Washington, Seattle. He makes his home on Bainbridge Island near Seattle, Washington, where he can be reached at the e-address johnlawrencenazareth@gmail.com
