Lucas Fain is a philosopher and visiting scholar in the Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies at Boston University. His first book, Primal Philosophy: Rousseau with Laplanche, was published by Rowman & Littlefield in 2021. His articles and essays have appeared in The Review of Metaphysics, Helios, the Graduate Faculty Philosophy Journal, Oxford Bibliographies, Public Seminar, and elsewhere.
