About Ignasi Gozalo Salellas

Ignasi Gozalo Salellas is a Professor at the Open University of Catalonia (Spain), where he teaches Communication and Contemporary Philosophy. He has previously been a lecturer and visiting professor at different institutions in the United States such as the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, Ohio State University, and Bryn Mawr College. He conducts his research in the fields of contemporary thought and visual culture, with particular emphasis on media, technology, and the intersections between aesthetics and politics. He is the author of La excepcionalidad permanente (The Permanent Exceptionality, Anagrama) and director of the video series What is to be done: United States under Trump’s Era (Ctxt.es).
